Sewer Camera Inspections
A sewer camera inspection provides a closer look inside accessible drain and sewer lines. Diaz Plumbing uses camera equipment when appropriate to help identify blockages, visible pipe damage, separated connections, and other conditions affecting the plumbing system.

CAMERA INSPECTION SERVICES
See What May Be Happening Inside Your Sewer Line
A camera inspection can provide useful visual information when drain problems continue or the condition of a sewer line is uncertain.
RECURRING CLOGS
We inspect accessible lines for visible obstructions and conditions that may contribute to repeated drain problems.
PIPE DAMAGE
Camera footage may reveal cracks, deterioration, separated connections, collapsed areas, or other visible damage.
UNDER-SLAB LINES
Camera inspections can assist in evaluating accessible sewer and drain lines located beneath a concrete foundation.
REPAIR PLANNING
Visual findings can help determine whether cleaning, additional diagnostics, repair, or pipe replacement should be considered.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
What a Sewer Camera May Reveal
01
BLOCKAGES & BUILDUP
The camera may reveal accumulated debris, grease, foreign objects, root intrusion, or other visible obstructions.
02
PIPE CONDITION
Footage may show deterioration, cracks, separated joints, misaligned piping, or collapsed areas within the accessible line.
03
PROBLEM LOCATION
The inspection can help narrow down where a visible obstruction or damaged section is located before repair planning begins.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW
What a Sewer Camera Cannot Show
A sewer camera provides a view inside accessible drain and sewer piping, but it cannot identify every plumbing problem by itself. It may not reveal a leak located outside the camera’s view, confirm the condition of surrounding soil, or determine the exact cause of every under-slab moisture problem.
Standing water, heavy buildup, sharp turns, blockages, or inaccessible sections can also limit how far the camera travels and what can be seen.
Diaz Plumbing considers the camera findings along with the property’s symptoms and plumbing history. Additional testing or leak diagnostics may be recommended when visual footage does not provide enough information.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Our Sewer Camera Inspection Process
01
DISCUSS THE PROBLEM
We review the symptoms, affected drains, previous backups, and any cleaning or repairs already attempted.
02
ACCESS THE LINE
We identify an appropriate access point and determine whether the line is suitable for a camera inspection.
03
INSPECT THE PIPE
The camera is advanced through accessible piping while visible conditions inside the line are reviewed.
04
EXPLAIN THE FINDINGS
We discuss what was visible and explain whether cleaning, additional diagnostics, or repair should be considered.
